DJI Phantom 3 Standard Quadcopter Drone ALFA RP-SMA Antenna Upgrade Kit

We are excited to bring to you in one package deal all of the antennas and pigtails our friend Richard Sisco used in his special YouTube video tutorial showing a do-it-yourself antenna modification process for the DJI Phantom 3 Standard Quadcopter drone.

He uses 1 ALFA APA-M25 and 2 ALFA APA-M04 Wi-Fi antennas to complete the modification as well as 3 RG178 IPX U.FL BS1 pigtails that are 8 inches long.

This kit here includes all of these items. You get 1 APA-M25, 2 APA-M04 antennas, and 3 pigtails. Note per Richard’s instructions in the YouTube video, you will need some additional tools, epoxy, etc. to complete the mod. Go to the direct YouTube page to watch the video and review the video description for full instructions. This kit does not include those types of things, this just includes the antennas and pigtails you need to buy for the mod.

Directional Antennas
The ALFA APA-M04 and APA-M25 antennas are both directional. Directional antennas concentrate gain in a particular direction and are excellent for using with drones. While the antenna does not need to be in a perfect line of sight to the signal, it needs to be pointed in the general direction. The ALFA logo side of the antennas should be aimed in the direction you are trying to transmit or receive.
