4 dBi Helium Hotspot Fiberglass Indoor Antenna Kit with RAK Magnet base + 6.5 feet LMR-200 cable fits RAK, Bobcat, Nebra

This is an indoor fiberglass encased omni-directional 915 MHz antenna with 4 dBi gain. Also included is the official RAK Wireless heavy-duty magnetic base that measures 3.5 inches in diameter and has a 6.5 foot cable attached to go to your miner, THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE RAK MINER ITSELF.

This antenna is compatible with the RAK V2, Bobcat 300, Nebra Indoor, SenseCAP M1, Kerlink, Linxdot, SyncroB.it, Helium Hotspot, Kerlink, FreedomFi & LongAP, (915 MHz USA and Australia versions only). This has the same gain as the Bobcat factory antenna and would be a better choice for RAK or Nebra owners.

We do recommend RokTape to seal all outdoor connection points.

Beware cautious of gain inflation- some places arbitrarily inflate antenna gain numbers to appear better than competing products. Because gain cannot be easily measured by the end-users, we have seen similar antennas marketed as numbers like 18 dBi to 30 dBi that are not even 20 inches tall. Rokland has been making antennas for over 14 years for WiFi, 4G, and other applications. Our 915 MHz antennas are listed with actual specifications. You also do not want extremely high gain as your path will be very narrow and miss other hotspots.

I see similar looking antennas online that say for 600 MHz to 2700 MHz, is a wider frequency spectrum better? 
Antennas with a focused spectrum will have better performance on that band segment vs antennas with a very wide spectrum. We would not recommend using antennas that are also WiFi 2.4 GHz compatible with your mining equipment. This antenna has a frequency range of just 698-960 MHz to give you maximum performance.

Low loss shielded cable
The RAK magnet base includes 6.5 feet of LMR-200 shielded coax cable built-in, with RP-SMA termination (to connect to your miner). LMR-200 has a gain loss of just 0.6 dBi at 6.5 feet. Lower cost bases generally use RG58 cable which has a loss of 1.3 dBi.

Recommended Use
Use with your Nebra or RAK miner to help increase your coverage area. This antenna can be used outdoors however the magnet base is not rated for outdoor use, therefore we recommend keeping this inside near a window. Check for Rokland brand outdoor mining antennas online.
